Yup, I had the same info conveyed to me via lawyer.
One more thing to note, in case of denial, hang on to the I-539 receipt, denial notice etc. this will help your parent/s to present their case whenever they go for new VISA after existing(assuming 10 yr. Multiple) expires. This will help them prove that they did not overstay illegally.

HI gccovet,
i am planning to apply for extension of my parents visitors visa. Fees is 300 dollars and i have to apply for them in same form. So do i need to pay 300 dollars or 600 dollars. your help will be appreciated.

There's definitely something fishy about the way these events took a sudden turn. It's all surfacing now. USCIS certainly needs to have transparency in the way they performs their duties. This is entirely unacceptable.

Dream Act 'Motion to proceed' passes with 59 to 40 votes.
It goes for cloture vote, which require 60 votes.
Is there any hope for us...

there you go you said that but in a new thread again.........
You're right, but I was trying to see if there's anything we can do so I don't have to in the future.

I had LUD on I-140 on 11/25 as well. 140 was approved late last year.
It could be a soft touch (system) or someone just looked at your 140 - Keep an eye out.

Traveling for the 1st time on AP (used H1 stamp previously, now I am on ead), wanted to know how the experience at SFO is. Do they always send you for secondary inspection? Anything else to know beforehand?
here's the list of docs I have from earlier post:
- All copies of AP
- EAD
- Passport, of course
- 485 receipt notice (Good to carry)
- 140 approval notice (Good to carry)
- Labor approval notice (Good to carry)
- Company identification card/badge (Good to carry)
- Current employment verification letter (Good to carry, I never did and I was okay)
- Old stamped APs, if you have used AP to travel in the past (Good to carry)
anything else?
Also, when leaving Bangalore, any issues if you only have an AP and no H1 stamping?
thanks.
I came in Jan and secondary inspection took only 10 mins. Just gave the PP and AP doc.

I guess I was doing this technique before I knew it's offical name, here's the last shot I recall.

Silly me, I did it the hard way, hand held.
P.S. Jeff, don't feel bad, I started out with one of those cheap Wal-Mart tripods too. Now that I have a good one the old cheap one comes in handy for my remote flash. So don't throw it out you may be able to reuse it one day.
