Haven't listened to them for quite some and accidentally stumbled upon their new LP "There Is No Enemy". Damn did I miss these guys. I loaded the new album on my iPod for a quick listen for my 5min hike to the store. Well I ended up walking around for like 45mins totally spaced and only came to when the cd ended. All in all, good walk - great cd.;)

I'm working on a new project and decided to do it in Premiere/After Effects CS5 after booting into 64bit. It's way faster and makes FCP seem like an old sluggish turkey. I'm sticking with Adobe until I see what Apple has to offer next year. Depending on what you do, Adobe has a much tighter integration with it's product line and they have a more modern UI compared to Apples 1990's interface.
The next FCS better be extremely better if they intend on catching up with Adobe. By the time Apple gets FCP out next year, Adobe will be close to releasing CS6 and that will probably be another jump past Apple. I'm not holding my breath for Apple; they only care about their main cash cows now. Those being the consumer device/application markets.

Saw one of these parked up down my road earlier, in my opinion it's the best car on the market today. Amazing looking, so comfortable, and very very fast when they need to be.
First, can you [timg] your pic? It is a little huge.
Second, I like everything about the new XJ.... except how it looks out back. The black D-pillar just really looks out of place. Unless, of course, the car is black itself, and you can't see the contrast. I'm still not sure why they chose to do that, as it just stands out too much. Otherwise, yea, it is a fantastic looking car.

Prisons, therefore, have no business trying to mete out punishment by making convicts miserable. It serves no useful purpose and I believe is actually counterproductive in that it breeds resentment toward society in the heart of the prisoner. Everything we do to make the prisoner (who may be released at some point) miserable reduces the likelihood that they can successfully rejoin society.

As a result, the ordinary adaptive process of institutionalization or "prisonization" has become extraordinarily prolonged and intense. Among other things, these recent changes in prison life mean that prisoners in general (and some prisoners in particular) face more difficult and problematic transitions as they return to the freeworld. A range of structural and programmatic changes are required to address these issues. Among other things, social and psychological programs and resources must be made available in the immediate, short, and long-term. That is, modified prison conditions and practices as well as new programs are needed as preparation for release, during transitional periods of parole or initial reintegration, and as long-term services to insure continued successful adjustment.
We are doing our society, as well as these prisoners a grave disservice by continuing to subject them to these conditions.

I know right? Christians are totally equivalent in women's clothing to Muslims. Well, I use Backgrounder to keep my music player going (I use EQu). I assume it will work with iPod as well the way you want, but I can't say 100%. Free on Cydia, so certainly worth a try to see if it works for you.

Reason it isn't a disgrace: The white enclosure apparently was causing trouble with the camera due to light leakage. You would most likely be calling that disgraceful if they had indeed released a 500$ phone with that rather huge flaw, so I guess they can't win.

I use TunesArt (http://www.jibapps.com/products/tunesart/). It's an iTunes plugin that lets you know what song is currently playing and can fetch up lyrics automatically. It can do a lot more too.

You can just move them. By default they're installed to the Applications folder. Hopefully in future updates, App Store will allow the option where to install apps.
