you know.. I meant to do this a while ago, but lost track of the thought. I have a write up in one of my books, done by Colin Moock, in which he takes his frame rate tester and tests a variety of things to see which effect frame rate and to what degree. I really do think it's worth posting. I'll try to do a small write up on the subject soon.

AFAIK you cannot use your SSN to receive google adsense revenues if you want to continue on H1B. It counts as business income and Google will send you a 1099 form and that is not allowed on an H1B. What people usually do is get someone in their home country to be the Google Adsense beneficiary. If you use your own ssn, on paper, it puts you out of H1B status.

Hi Friends,
My maternal uncle filed PR for my parents and the priority date is: 06/24/2002.
The date of approval of I-130: 03/12/2008
My age was 20 years and 5 days as on 06/24/2002. I am currently working in USA on H1B visa. So can I apply for Green card with change of status with my parent's I-130 with Child Status Protection Act?

We got "Approval Notice Sent" emails 6 days back. I received my EAD 3 days back but haven't received my wife's yet.
Has anyone filed for Replacement EAD? Do we need to wait 30 days from the date we received the approval email? How long does it take usually to receive a Replacement card?
Please share your experiences.

"Card production ordered" is the first status that you will see and then it will change to "Approval notice sent". Tentatively, Your card will be postmarked with the date when your status changed to "Approval notice sent" and it takes upto 4 calendar days to receive the card through mail. Usually, approval notice goes to attorney on file for 765, if you have filed G28 otherwise you will receive it. Call USCIS and find out whether the card is ordered then ask for follow-up actions and decide whether to file for replacement card. There is no separate form for replacement cards - you will still be using same 765 form; I guess, same processing time applies - you may expedite by taking infopass after receiving the receipt notice for your replacement card by providing the letter from the employer. Hope this helps.

As long as you are still doing S/W related job, don't worry about VB , C# or Java etc ...I myself used AC21 rule to change the job and got GC in September.. I know a lot of ppl got GC after using AC21. Most of the ppl, I know (including me) did not inform USCIS about AC21. Ron Gotcher was my attorney and according to him, sending AC21 documents might complicate the case. Also, he informed me that AC21 rule is practiced in a very liberal way by the USCIS ... so don't worry ...

The research for this was conducted by the content team of IV. And as regards the big websites, Rajeev Khanna, Bender's online Matthew Oh all have provided references to IV's doc. I was watching C-span fully. I did not see any amentments to instate Ac21 provision to eliminate hard country quota. Is there any update? Is there any possibilty for amendment from any senatore in floor discussion? Please post the procedings in this issue, as I feel this may be ignored by senaters due to the controversial guest worker program.
By the way is there any differnce between 202a3 and 202a5?

Please refer to flcdatacenter.com and download all the PERMDATA in the access dataformat and look for your case number. It should give you certain data needed to do the AC21 paper work.

This shouldn't be a problem if you are a law obeying citizen :D How do you find out the status of the FBI name clearance? You wait until PD becomes current and nothing happens then place an inquiry with BCIS?

After my PD (01/2002) became current on 09/01, I waited two weeks then inquired about the status of my case: the first time, they told me they were still waiting for the FBI name check to clear and, the second time to find out that the name check had been pending since...08/2004 (when I filed I-485):mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

How are you doing ? i am new to here. i will fill all details soon. sorry for that.
Before i stayed in place "X " which comes under nebrasaka centre, applied for 485, ead and ap. my company also in " X " only.
Right now i am in place " Y " which comes under Texas centre ( because of my job i moved recently) . Now i want to renew my ead and ap my self . my job, payroll and living is in place " Y " only.
But my pemanent address is " X " only. I want to continue that for my full GC process.
what my question is what i have to mention the address for my ead and ap renewal ?
1) is it "X " address as it is my permanent address and applied my 485 also from there and wish to continue or my "Y " address as i am working , living and payroll are here ?
2) If i mention " X " address is there any problem ? , dont think wrongly as i really dont know
3) if i put " Y " address is my case ead and ap along with 485 will move to Texas centre ?
i really want to avoid it if chances are there in good way as my case before everything in Nebrasca centre compared to Texas centre procesing time is good
4) If i put " Y " address i will get any RFE ?

Ask your company to demote you to developer position once u get ur green card. GC is for a future job position.

1. Do I Need an airport transit visa since iam travelling via France ?
Depends on the airline..Air India would let you board...Other airlines may not allow you to board.I have heard of cases some people getting sent back from airport.Do not know anyone firsthand..Air India told my wife that they would not deny boarding and anything happens in Paris that is her risk.She got the transit visa from french consulate just to be on the safer side...noone came to check it when plane at paris.
2. How long will it take to get my fresh passport if I applied over the counter on emergency system (Tatkaal)
Faster in US in India consulate that in India offices..At least NY is fast
3. Can I travel with an expired H4 visa ?
The only requirement for exiting the US is I-94...Usually they just take it and not even look at it....You can travel to a destination outside US...They would let you leave...No coming back without valid visa..
You can travel inside the US...Just keep the USCIS application receipt copy with you....You can show that copy as proof that you are making attempts to maintain legal status..
