The upside-down "V" shaped branches in the upper left corner are distracting, but could probably be cloned out with a bit of work in PS. The bright leaves in the upper right corner are also distracting, but a bit of burning in could probably make them stand out less. The water is blown out down at the bottom, but that's easy to excuse if you're using a P&S where you don't have much control over the exposure - or even a way to reliably gauge it until the image is on your computer monitor. Overall, the image has potential, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix most of the little issues I see with a bit of time in Photoshop. :)

Can we get temporary EAD by taking Info Pass? Anybody has experienced this recently...please advise.

My EAD Renewal application receive date is 03/16/2009...I got FT Job offer , but don't have any EAD in hand..company is not willing to transfer H1..I did paper filing...any idea how long its going to take to get the EAD in hand..

Once a person starts working on EAD, his H1 status becomes void. I have read in forum that people still switch from EAD to H1, but I am not entirely sure on that one.
But here is what your friend need to do:
All who are planning to use AC21 or already switched job using AC21 (using EAD). Following is very important:
If you think you are immune, think twice, especially if you are making an investment (American Dream) by buying house, please read the following, help keep your dream intact....

Thanks guys. I just sat down and started trowing things on the canvas. It all came together by accedent. I still have some other little stuff to add to it.
I know it is kind of old school to use radial blurs and scan lines but the look so cool.

We are supposed to mark one reason for an adjustment to permanent resident.
Part 2 says
I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:
"a": an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has been approved. (Atttach a copy of the approval notice-- or a relative, special immigrant juvenile or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.)
"b": my spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful permanent residence in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status for spouses and children.
"h": Other basis of eligibility. Explain (for example, I was admitted as a refugee, my status has not been terminated, and I have been physically present in the U.S. for one year after admission). If additional space is needed, use a separate piece of paper.

Hi
I got selected in the lottery this year 2009 for H1. I filed it through a consultant in US. I am currently in India and waiting for I-797. Some quick questions :
1. If a MNC in US is ready to offer me a job, when is the earliest, the H1 can get transferred ?. is it possible to get the H1 transferred before I get it stamped in India itself ? (before October).
2. If the above is not possible, when is it possible to transfer the H1 ?.
3. Is it necessary I work with the consultant, before I can get my H1 transferred?.

I think you can apply for reinstatement from within U.S. Check with the International Students Office at your school.

I am planning to work on EAD soon and switch my employer using AC21. How would USCIS know that I have switched from H1b to EAD. I might change my mind after 1 months and get back to H1 transfer and work on H1 instead on EAD.
This depends on if the future project is long term and I switch to H1B just to be safe.
Any ideas would be appreciated...

How long it take (in terms day) to receive actual RFE mail notice after LUD status update online about RFE?
No RFE so far. Like I said all I see is new LUDs and all the online messages on i-485 cases say "case received and pending" on all cases. All cases are at Nebraska.

I've an appointment in October at Munich, Germany consulate for H1B stamping. Because of time constraints I decided to get the stamping done when I'm out there for work. I've already obtained the german visa (though had to provide plenty of explanation !). This is my 9th yr extn (MS, EB2 - 140 approved)
- Can anyone share their experience at the Munich consulate?
- or, should I plan going to Canada and trying rather taking the risk in Germany?

My I140 is approved and I485 is pending. I am working Full Time as a Software Devloper on EAD with a Consulting Company. I have been offered a part time work of same nature by my friend. He has a company and he offers to pay me on 1099.
Would it be ok to work part time(15 Hrs. per week) and accept payment on 1099.
Please advise.

The easiest solution would be going to MataMoros, Mexico for stamping. This is the best option for us. Easy, affordable, and takes only 1 day. India, you need to answer several questions, interview to be attended, and ofcourse, they treat everybody as though the person requesting for visa is a criminal.

Thanks. I am guessing the same.. but for my friend, his lawyer entered the Card valid start and end dates on the EAD card for this date field...

I never entered the US in the first place.
You can try to move existing visa to the new employer if it has not been revoked by the employer. If you are not working for them...they are supposed to revoke it.
The process for moving to a new employer with existing visa is almost the same as applying for a new one except that you are not subject to the annual cap of 65K
Considering that you have the old employer stamped on your visa...it will cause confusion at the airport or POE and they might send you back
Its better to file a new application since you are not in the US
